Only one poll that matters and it will not be release for a few more weeks. Enough time for LSU to lose and time for us to get a few more wins.

All you have to do is look at who beat these 4 top 10 teams this weekend to realize how accurate the pollsters are. It only matters how you finish.
It makes all the sense in the world.** LSU has lost to two unranked teams, and we've lost to the 3rd ranked and another top 20 team. Of course we lost our games with style, but as I recall we pretty much pummeled LSU.Quote:

Would you rather beat a Top 15 team and lose to a South Alabama or vice versa? We always want to beat the USA teams. Teams with respect win those ranked games on a semi consistent basis. We don't. We had one good year for that and haven't capitalized since really. If we beat one team that finished ranked per year there would be a totally different perspective about our program.
I?m not saying we should be ranked but there is no rational explanation for LSU to be ranked and us not.

Most polls are a popularity vote. The media darlings are protected and given favorable rankings. If this doesn't hold true, then why did Clemson only fall 5 spots to 7th after losing to an unranked team. There are other 1 loss teams that don't get that kind of "Love".
I'm sorry, but I can't complain with not being ranked when we get beaten by a combined score of 80-13 in back to back weeks.
They beat Florida and Auburn. We didn't sniff the panties of beat Auburn. If we played LSU again, who knows.
Kentucky isn't ranked either and they are 5-1. They did lose to Florida, which isn't good at all, on their home field. Also Ky hasn't looked good playing the easy schedule they have had. Hope they don't put it all together this Saturday.
