But it IS!!! They own us in football. We own them in baseball. It has been that way for 75 years. Check the record books.
And like it or not, neither Fanbase gives two craps about basketball unless they are winning bigly!

And here's more reality. Let's assume we blow a game every weekend going forward. Very possible with this team. That alone would put us at 12 losses in the SEC. If Arkansas sweeps us that's two more not including the blown loss to Arkansas. So that's 14. Vandy on the road is probably a series loss as well. So that's 15 losses right there and if Vandy sweeps us it's 16.
Our margin for error is pretty close to zero. And Heaven forbid we lose to Memphis on the road.
I've never wanted to own OM in baseball. I never considered them to be in our universe in baseball. Head-to-head, that's been the reality. Unfortunately, to the outside world, the two programs are likely seen as even since we both have one national title. That fact disgusts me to no end. We should have more titles.
After we scored 2 more in the eight I turned it off. How did we manage to screw this up?
Long?s home run sucked the air out of the stadium. Then Long?s behavior and the ejection of Bianco fired the crowd and the Ole Miss team back up. I?m sick of Long. And his behavior off the field is 1000 times worse than his behavior on it. There are several dads of MSU females that are very close to driving to Starkville to handle things the old fashioned way. If he?s not careful, he will find himself wrapped in a blue tarp at the bottom of some pond. He can?t leave Starkville fast enough for me. He has a bad reputation off the field.
Then why haven't charges been brought up. Are his actions being handled like Baylor football.
Well that is some strong accusations. That makes it sound Baylor-ish. I have heard he is not the greatest guy but not anything worse than just the typical D bag stuff you hear about from most athletes. I mean not really that surprising with how he acts on the field.
To clarify, I’m not accusing him of any illegal sexual assault or anything. I just know he’s very verbally inappropriate with females, vulgar, and can be threatening. And word is he did do one thing to a female that could certainly be considered assault (but not sexual assault). His reputation is not good with behavior. He needs to clean up his act on a personal level. That’s much more important than baseball.
Prob time to lock this thread up
I think we handled this loss pretty well
Haha
lotta friendly girls around baseball guys.
