Damn fine start to the weekend!
He was never pressured. He was in command the entire game, kept his pitch count low, and never got in any trouble. He was flat cruising. It looked effortless. Such a great performance. He never had to make any big pitches because he kept his foot on their neck from the beginning.
Love Khal Stephen and this baseball team! Now go win tomorrow and Sunday and go to heck om!
After last Saturday, I think these young men have grabbed another gear.
Here is how you know Justin Parker can flat out coach... not only has he drastically improved our pitching staff, but they just keep getting better as the year goes on.
dragging] Y'know, this was supposed to be my weekend off, but noooo. You got me out here draggin' your heavy ass through the burnin' desert with your dreadlocks stickin' out the back of my parachute. You gotta come down here with an attitude, actin' all big and bad...

Captain Steven Hiller : and what the hell is that smell?
I caught the bottom of the 8th inning. That's it. Khal was flat dealing!!!!
Out of all the pitchers we've seen improve, the most improved is Hardin, IMO. His stuff is drastically better in both velo and movement.
That pitching performance was about as you can get.
Really clean game for us especially given the circumstances. We had one error but that's about it.
If we can save Nolan Stevens for Sunday, you have to feel pretty good.
That's who I would start regardless. I'm done with the Nate Dohm rehab experiment during SEC games.
If we want to start him against Alcorn if he is healthy that's fine. I'm also fine Dohm just wants to shut it down.
Long term we're better off getting Stevens and Dotson the experience anyway.
