If the forecast holds, I'm going to see if I can find ANY decent water around Cat in the morning, but I'm not holding my breath.
No cooking tonight; going out (as soon as the boss gets home). I am pre-gaming it a bit with some cheap German beer, though...

Grilled pork chops. Jack and Coke here in Birmingham.
Chinese take out. Damn that trout looks amazing
1 1/4 inch thick T- Bones from the " Reduced for quick sale" section. Walked out to the garden and pulled some yellow squash, zucchini and tomatoes. Stir fried the squash and zucchini with some portobello mushrooms. Diced the maters for a salad. T-Bones pulled from the grill at 125 degrees and allowed to rest and settle at about 133. Washed it down with a couple of Lucky Town Pub Ales. Wasn't terrible!
Cajun grilled tuna and grilled asparagus from Amerigo takeout. Just finished a nice glass of my Lusty Claw Bourbon and hitting the hay!
Drinking El Dorado 12 Year Old rum and listening to old Pink Floyd records. My first summer project has been to listen to the Floyd's entire back catalog on vinyl in reverse chronological order. I started a week or so ago and I'm already to Atom Heart Mother. So while I have no idea what I'm cooking for my family this weekend, I feel like I'm spending my time wisely.
Prime strip with a wedge with bacon tomatos cheese green onion and peppadews. Ranch of course
