Somebody at UM probably told him to vote for Stanford.

Parrish probably thought he was voting for Samford and wanted to boost them up since they will soon be one of Ole Miss's main rivals.

He is the main reason I let my 20+ year subscription to the Daily Journal expire.

How can you be that inept and keep your job?

The AP should have a process where they ask voters if they're sure about wacky votes. Obviously Mr. Alford had no idea Stanford lost and would have adjusted his ballot accordingly if someone had told him.

Daily Journal is a joke.... has been for years.

Isn't that part of the responsibility of the privilege of having a vote? I know a couple voters who stay up until the last game is over to make their final polls and actually take it seriously. Is Dipshit Alford doesn't take it seriously he should have his privileges revoked. It's assclowns like him who prevent us from being ranked preseason.
