I just got back from there. The girlfriend and I spent more money on food than on gambling. Here are the 4 nice places we ate at in order of how much I liked the food.
1. Portofino in Mirage. Had a half and half plate of the lobster pasta and day-boat scallops. May be the best meal I've ever had!
2. Dinner buffet at Aria. You name it, its there. And its all good.
3. Top of the World on top of the Stratosphere. Huge portion of food but have had better. I think the location and food portion contribute largely to the price. It is an awesome view!
4. Emeril's in MGM (just stopped in for a bowl of gumbo in the afternoon so it wasn't a real meal). Just a good bowl of gumbo. Don't know that I've ever had a bad bowl of gumbo.
Coupons really help. We used a couple of 2 for 1's and a $25 off for the top 3 places.
Thanks, we are not gamblers.....good food and good drinks is our game!
If it has reopened, Lotus of Siam is the best Thai food I have ever had. It is not expensive, but is off the strip so you have to take a cab.
Caba Waba by Planet Hollywood is great for lunch and people watching. (Sammy Hagar's place) The California fish tacos we great!
Steak House - Delmonico in the Venetian
Italian - Lago in Bellagio
Lunch - Mesa Grill in Caesars Palace
my favorite is Hugo's Cellar in the 4 Queens Hotel - Casino ..... part of Old downtown. I would recommend you see old downtown before you leave instead of spending all your time on the strip
Find out where Chumlee eats.
My idea of fine Eyetalian is Spagettiooos with hot dogs cut up in it.**** Never take my advice or even consider my opinion when it come to Italian food, I know not what I speak of, but everything else? I know good food.
Been to Delmonico and Cut, and thought Cut was better. Actually might be the best steakhouse I've ever been to.
Went to Le Cirque, good but overrated.
Piero's off the strip was solid, not spectacular.
Todd English Olives pretty good
Vegas is all about Buffets. If you ain't doing buffets you're doing Vegas wrong.
Mon Ami Gabi French Restaurant in Paris. I usually do brunch there. It isn't very expensive and you won't be disappointed
Just got back from there a month ago......Go to Nobu in Caesars.....only like 15 of those in the entire world......41 years on this earth, and was hands down, the best meal I have ever had....I ate at the one in Miami just a week earlier and was just as good......
He has opened up a candy store next to the Pawn shop too.........Go figure...........
a dozen. Now, it's mostly gone to restaurants and you're paying for the service too. The food out there has gotten ridiculous.
