Interesting move (haven’t had the chance to watch) Murphy has the size but seemed soft as a rb. Interested to see what he does with the opportunity. LB in the SEC can’t be soft.

First impressions of JoMo practice reports that are way over thought:
1. He doesn't appear to mind praising a Freshman. That could lend to him being more comfortable playing them.
2. We don't know JoMo's average yet. We don't know if he's in a good mood, bad mood, or just average. That will come with time, big games, etc.. We simply can't tell how he feels about things. By the end of the Mullen era, I could just about tell you how we would play that weekend due to how he talked throughout the week .
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think they're two totally different positions. I think the Viper was a hybrid DE/OLB type like Sweat or Green. (Well, Green should have been in Sirmon's defense) I think the Star position is a hybrid OLB/Safety kind of like the old DOG backs in Joe Lee Dunn's defense.Quote:
