Glanced over AJ's game stats for this year and last year after last night's weak performance, and it's pretty obvious to me that he's vastly overrated. For a guy who was touted last night as "the best receiver in the SEC," he's shown up with a big game against exactly one strong SEC opponent in his two seasons, which was Auburn this year. Outside that, all of his big games stat-wise have been against cupcakes. It may be coincidence, but every time I watch a game of theirs, he has multiple drops and plays soft. He has a lot of potential, no doubt, but it's pretty obvious to me at this point that his production is mostly a result of playing slot receiver in their offense and weak competition.
