We’ll be fine.
He is a nice player, but the previous staff at Arkansas didn’t even make him a priority. He may turn out to be good, but would appear to be anything but a guy we can’t find a replacement for.
We also have to make some room
for some soon to be commits
Who & Harria already had spots.
I haven’t heard any new names yet from the new staff.
Harris and maybe Nelson I'm guessing.
Hey Jaylon Reed! You can come back now.
Neither Reed nor Nelson are SEC caliber players.
Guys, if The Razorbacks seriously want a kid that is a native Arkansan, 99% of
The time, they will get the kid. Arkansas is a very united state when it comes to backing the razorbacks.
The odd thing here is how quickly it happened. I'm sure losing our staff evened the field, but he flipped really fast. Has ARK even hired their defensive staff yet.
Guess he or mama really wanted to be closer to home. I thought we'd be in a battle with the new staff but thought it would drag out to official visits, etc.
Where he lives is over 4 hours from Fayetteville.
I think he wanted to go to Arkansas but they didn’t push him. New staff comes in and needs to make a splash and choose him as the splash they could get.
If he was a can’t miss prospect, Bielema would’ve been all over him.
So Arkansas moved on from a legit in-state prospect that easily?
Hmmm
I’ve seen this kid play live, so I don’t need to be told how legit he is. He is a nice player that I wanted but this isn’t meltdown situation. In fact, the kid’s uncle told me he was a safety at the next level.
As previously stated, going into the last two weeks, we were about 6 schollies committed over our number.
JoMo wants to go "clean slate" with current team members whereas Mullen had planned to make some cuts to the roster. Numbers are tight and its looks like it will be after Spring when cuts are made. There wont be any choice
The fact is things like this happen with coaching staff turnover. We’ll get by.
Then there is Casey Hughes Jr that may come in
Is Williams a S or CB?
Is this Hughes Jr the guy at Utah? What's his story - grad transfer?
Bielema didn't offer an in-state CB in last year's class who ended up getting PT as a freshman at Oklahoma. Tre Norwood. He made some weird recruiting decisions sometimes.
From what I understand we only have 3 spots for DBs in this class since we took 6 last year and we were taking whomever committed first but we got 3 before Bishop made his decision. After Bielema was fired, 4* BJ Hanspard decommitted and a spot opened up.
