I hear it's only worth about tree fiddy.
I got 50.
One thing is for certain, 34 loves him some little girl drama. Dude needs to grow up
In order to determine what I'd pay for a 25% ownership stake in this site, I'd need to know some ballpark estimate of what a "click on an add" is worth
This is becoming very entertaining to say the least. A brand new poster, posting in the 1am hour, about C34 trying to sell out
Let's say this board gets one million page views per month. Figuring $5 per 1,000 views that equals $5,000 per month. How much does the server cost + fees + tech help when it crashes from time to time, maybe $1,000 per month spit-balling.
So $4,000 per month x 25% = $1,000 per month. But you have to be a moderator of the board, which means you now own your part time job. How many hors per week is that? Let's say 20 hours per week. There's 4.34 weeks per month on average, so that's 86.9 hours per month. $1,000 divided by 86.9 hours = $11.50 per hour.
But the purchasing of a company or equity shares is really only based on how much profit there will be after you've paid someone to run the business you've purchased....not simply owning your job. So if you could hire someone to moderate the board for $8.50 per hour, then you'd profit $3 per hour. That expands to $3,128 per year.
If I were a poster who came to this site 50 times every single day and posted 20 times a day like there are here, this would be an intriguing buy as you'd now be making some money off your hobby. If that were the case I'd say his shares are worth about $3,000.
Behr Dawg says this is entertaining. But I wanted to do this exercise to see what it behred out, bada bing.
I?ll give him a bag of coffee for his 25%.
kill all mods.
I'll give in and buy his coffee.
Watch jughead buy it just to troll it

It shows ED worth about $25K...
Obviously he wasn't making much money off if ED if he had to start trying to do a pyramid scam here.
Goodness. Y'all need to stop with the personal insults.
I've got $25 and some Henny and Vivarin.
Does this site actually make money?
I heard Random Poster is interested.
Love him or not, Ole 34 can generate posts.
Not that I always agreed with him, I definitely looked forward to his posts.
My fear is that the board may go down with his exit, after all his posts are what got this site so popular.
Since I joined ED back in 2014, I have agreed on some things C34 posted, and I have disagreed on some, and that goes vice versa. So if he wants to come back that is fine with me , or if he doesn't that is also fine. That is his choice. The site will survive either way. No matter what a few on here say, or try to make you believe. So much drama on this. It's kind of getting old, like the sky is falling meltdown crap (attention seeking). Fitz's comment after Mullen left may be somewhat appropriate, to this situation. " Thank you coach Mullen for building this program into what it is today. But a program is bigger than 1 person!"
There are many good posters on this site and there will be many more to come... and go. I followed C34 here because I had a similar beliefs and values as a fan and liked what this board was trying to do. Since that time, C34 has not even been close to one of the best posters here, although he was still a quality poster at times. I wish he would still post here, but its on him to change, no one else. He's the one who has a problem. Until he can act like an adult about things he will always think everything is someone else's fault and will always cause problems like this no matter where he goes, just like everywhere he's ever been. It is the culture of this board that brings us here, not one person. We've had many greats at MSU too, but when they left the university didn't end. Jack C, Dan, Jackie, Cohen, Polk, Dak... The show must go on.
Ha ha he needs this board way more than the board needs him. he won't have another message board to bounce to unless he starts another one. I am pretty sure he has been asked to leave some of the others.
