Wow! Awesome pic
Now that's awesome! Great to Coach Sherrill!
Sherrill really showing some age.
Can someone photoshop Joe Lee on the bus drinking a beer in the background, with Shoop banging on the door....
To me that would truly show past meeting future! The Kang isn't the Kang without Joe Lee!
The Kang would still whoop your ass
The Kang is getting on up there. I think he's looking pretty good for his age.
and we need a peeping croom in the creation as well.

After I graduated I went to work in Jackson. I bought a Harley Davidson. I was off work one Friday and took a ride up 25 to Starkville. This is when it was two lane.
He was still the coach. I stopped in Carthage at a country store to rest and get something to drink. While sitting he come driving up in a T-Bird convertible. He walked by and I said hi. He went into the store then came out. He sat down next to me and we talked motor cycles for about 10 minutes. Then he left. He is really a normal guy.
This has to be Germans but how tall is coach JoMo.
JWS always liked his nice threads. If memory serves, I think he always crooted in a suit and tie.
Pretty sure he said 6’-5” last night.
My dad was 6'2" and I always thought Jackie was taller than he was. If true, JoMo looking 6'6'' in that pic.
He also wore a suit when he coached games (similar to basketball coaches today). Might be old fashioned, but I wish the coaches would still "dress up" for football games. Mullen took casual to the extreme last year when he showed up in shorts.
Several years ago, "casual Friday" came into existence when many places would allow a person to dress down for the day in business casual. Of course, many employees took it to extreme, some even showing up in jeans and tee shirts that looked like they'd mucked out a horse stall before coming in and before long it was 5 days a week. Sometimes the janitor looked better dressed than the engineers and other professionals. Returning respect to the workplace in a person's dress should be reinstated.
.
Still got a picture of Jackie holding my now 17 year old son when he was 3 months old at his first summer Bulldog gathering. Jackie always had time for the little dawgs. I sent him a clown puppet for his collection once and he sent me a personal thank-you note. Also have the program from his first game as MSU head coach. I was leaving a Bulldog summer event in Corinth many years ago in my silver '79 vette as he came out the front. He yelled, Hey, Man, let me borrow that 'vette! He will always be the Kang to me. Hail Jackie! Hail State!
That year when JWS beat Stallings in Starkville, my BAMER sister called my brother and left a voice message (back then they were on cassettes) during the game. She was a little drunk saying things like "even though y'all are ahead, you KNOW Bamer always wins!!" she left 2 more. the next one she was drunker and was starting to get pissed but was still confident with her Bamer "superiority". The 3rd one was a much drunker sister in melt down mode after we won. My brother sent it to JWS and he mailed my brother back a letter telling him how much he enjoyed it.
