Just tried 4 Roses and it was smooth. I normally drink it with a splash of water but I had it on the rocks and it was fantastic.
My favorites are Blanton and Woodford.
Anyone else got some different opinions on different ones to try?

My faves were the now defunct old charter 12 & 10. I'll admit that I'm more or a value shopper and rarely go high dollar. I bartended for years and have had all the ultra premiums like JW Blue and I feel like it's diminishing returns. Or maybe I'm just a cheapskate, who knows... You laugh but I really like the Evan Williams 1783 small batch.
the single malt kinds...
if I'm going to spend decent money on drink, it's going to be scotch. however, I do enjoy charter, crown, and makers.
Here's the bourbon enthusiast reviews on Evan Williams 18783 small batch. All very positive. Great buy for a the money http://bourbonenthusiast.com/forum/D...isplaybottling
Haven't tried the small batch but will. I'm actually a huge fan of regular black label Evan Williams. The green label is too smooth, like regular Jim Beam. I like that little bit of bite in EW Black. Jack Daniels has too much bite, though I appreciate the fine smokey flavor it has.
Wow...exactly what I drink. I found a few threads from a bourbon site and they imply that this has happened before and OC 10 could be re-released in a few years.

And then there's this:

"his one comes from the bourbon conspiracy theorists: Buffalo Trace recently announced they were discontinuing Old Charter 10 year old which shares the same mashbill as the Stagg line. Poor demand was quoted as the reason. Anyone know with certainty if they decided to adjust and redirect barrels previously destined for Old Charter 10 to be used for Stagg Jr.? It would be a genius move if it was true. Definitely a lot more money to be made by selling it with the Stagg name attached."
