Pretty sure that was before this weekend.
Again we have zero margin for error. And shrinking. Our RPI is bad enough that 14 SEC wins may get us left out.
If we aren't hosting or at least a high 2, Lemonis is gone, barring a run to Omaha.
If we're a 3 who barely makes it and then gets bounced, Lemonis is 100% fired. Etch it.
We aren't making a regional. With our RPI, we'll have to win 15 games to get in. And this team isn't consistent enough to win 15 games. I think we end up with 12 or 13 which will be improved, but not enough. Send his fat ass packing and don't invite him back for at least 20 years to recognize the championship team
Unfortunately, we are doing exactly what my goal was for this season (so far)
SEC - Win 2/3 at home and at least 1 game on the road.
To make it, I think we need 8 more sec wins...
Auburn
At vandy
Bama
At ark
Mizzou
If we pull off a sweep of Auburn, Bama, or mizzou, we might actually get there.
Inconsistency and poor decision makings isn’t a good sign for success in Coaching. When you go in your third year without a closer says a lot.
It’s time for a change. We did have to lose a series to OM eventually. That being said, it’s the fashion in which we lost, and to an inferior team.
I agree. I just want to watch good baseball.
Totally disagree that Ole Miss is an inferior team.
They won 2 of 3 against #20 South Carolina, win 1 of 3 against #5 Tennessee, got swept by #1 Arkansas and #8 Kentucky, and took 2 of 3 from over-rated #22 State. I'd say they have the easy part of their schedule ahead of them. I would not be surprised if they finished ahead of State in the end.
