I work with Gene's cousin and was saying Gene told him this morning he had heard there were at least some grumblings about postponing the game.

About BulldogBear
I finally got to check an item off the bucket list, this season, which was to attend two games in one day. There are only a few geographical areas where this can be pulled off and then you have to have a perfect storm on the kickoff times. It should be noted that I have never once left a game before the last tick of the clock and that streak is intact largely to a travel tip from BrunswickDawg! I was also in my seat at game 2 of the DH a half hour before kickoff! ETA: I had been trying for years to get a situation for a DH and then was able to do it again in the same year in Texas the final weekend of October!

-First football game to attend: 1980 Mississippi State vs. Auburn at Mississippi Memorial Stadium with my mom and dad. I was 7 years old. We won 24-21. My mother worked at an antebellum home in Natchez named Auburn. I knew Auburn's colors were blue and orange and that they would be wearing all white. I naturally assumed a picture of the house would be on the side of their helmet!

-Last football game to attend: My son is home from Europe and now home on leave. We have much football, hunting, and gaming planned. This was the 2nd year in a row he had to miss the entire regular season so he was drooling for college football. We went to the Music City Bowl, then drove back through Memphis to watch the Dawgs beat Louisville at Memphis BBQ Company in Horn Lake. This was the 146th FBS game I've attended.

-Next Up: Northwestern @ Purdue, LSU vs. Miami, or Mississippi State @ Kansas State. It depends on my Dad's health.

THE QUEST: I have a lifetime goal to see all FBS schools play live at least once. The latest added to the list was Northwestern and they are #60. I still have a ways to go but I'm young yet.

The top 5 school appearances in my list of games attended as of today are:

1) Mississippi State - 102 games. Dawgs are 59-43
2) Ole Miss - 45 games but includes 19 Egg Bowl crossovers
3) Southern Mississippi - 11 games
4) LSU - 9 games (7 against MSU, 2 vs. Ole Miss)
5) Tulane - 8 games, 5 vs. MSU
